SMS Terms and Conditions
Our SMS traffic alerts service is provided by Traffic-Update.co.uk, allowing motorists to get alerts for any motorway/road by SMS to your mobile phone.
Just text TRAFFIC M25 to 68899 (change M25 to your road/motorway, your postcode, or your town/city).
Traffic Alerts cost £1 per SMS. This is not a subscription service - there are no other ongoing charges so you are in total control when you wish to use this service. There is no requirement to send 'STOP' as this is not a subscription service - you may be charged a standard rate for sending 'STOP'.
Please ensure that you only send the word 'TRAFFIC' plus a road (e.g. 'A5'), motorway (e.g. 'M6'), postcode (e.g. 'WS33PD') or town (e.g. 'Leeds') - sending any other combination of words such as 'A5 Towards Telford' will not relay any traffic updates, and you will still be charged.
